PREF 2012 will be recorded as another growth year for the country’s property sector as the Philippine Real Estate Festival (PREF) celebrates its sixth year in providing the ultimate venue for property development and networking. PREF 2012 marks this year’s event with the theme, “Philippine Real Estate Opportunities for Foreign and Local Investors”, highlighting the various media that Filipinos and foreigners alike can participate in the growing property sector. The 3-day event will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on July 26-28, 2012.
Vice President Jejomar Binay, HUDCC Chair has been invited to cut the ribbon to formally open the festival and as Guest Speaker. Together with Sen. Bongbong Marcos, Cong. Rod Valencia, and Atty. Mike Varela are expected to present why the Philippines is a haven for real estate investment for both foreign and local investors among other relevant matters affecting the real estate industry today. Unlike the previous Festivals over the past years, PREF 2012 will hold a different symposia over the 3-day program catering to specific groups. The Festival is expected to draw an extensive number of interest groups, sectors, and individuals due to this format. The program will feature the avenues for property investment in daily plenary sessions relevant to the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Sector, the various Foreign Chambers, the Metro Manila Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the various OFWs, Seafarers etc. groups.
The Festival will feature an interesting and highly comprehensive exhibit of the widest array of real estate development in the Philippines. Participated by the leading real estate developers and related suppliers, the event promises active and positive business-matching and networking activities under one roof. The event is open to the public and no entrance fee will be charged. A design showcase and an Excellence Awards will also be held to recognize the achievements of young designers, architects, and booth participants.
